There is a photo of Sarah Palin, wrapped in an American Flag, in the current edition of Newsweek Magazine. The same photo was also included in CNN's "Sarah Palin Revealed".

- The Westboro Baptist Church plans to protest at the funerals of those killed in Tucson this weekend. The rantings of this so-called church have nothing to do with Christianity or religion. It has to do with hate and incitement to commit a crime.

- This sounds so much like a movie plot from one of The Highlander movies. In the movie, they put up a shield over the cities, but it made everything dark, dreary and rainy all the time. I'm usually very pro-science, but I'm a little bit afraid of messing with Mother Nature in such a big way.

- I would be happy to leave your beliefs to you, if only you wouldn't try to shove them down everyone else's throats. You are not 99% of the people, not even close, and the rules are made to protect everyone from being forced to endure a religion they don't agree with.

LindaC, you are incorrect. The founding Fathers WERE Christian. Very few were non-Christian. If you read the ORIGINAL documents, written and penned by the men themselves, you would find they were not only very religious, but had the objective of institutint the belief that a Higher Law governed men. It was that notion that led to "all men are created equal".
Since they were schooled in Latin they were writing to Fidelis to the Original- that is Truth as Christians know it. Real Ultimate Truth. Not the truth that I make up, as you believe.
